In collaboration with Dr. Omar Behar, we designed a quartz bubble column reactor for methane pyrolysis. This innovative method for hydrogen production involves breaking down methane into its elements, yielding hydrogen and solid carbon—a valuable alternative to the carbon dioxide produced by traditional steam methane reforming techniques.

We conducted thorough investigations into various parameters, including temperature, mass flow rate, reactor pore size, and the height of molten gallium within the reactor. The findings from our research will soon be shared.
